Butterfly Effect

The butterfly effect concept has since been used outside the context of weather science as a broad term for any situation where a small change is supposed to be the cause of larger consequences. We felt persuaded to make it more poetic: a very small change in initial conditions creates a significantly different outcome. This was the inspiration for our collection. We tried to show the little things that could cause big changes; we used some mystical symbols like the third eye, butterfly wings, and plants, trying to create surreal vibes to show that there are things we don’t see, or we don’t have any idea what they are caused by—BUT THEY STILL HAPPEN, and they happen with all their strength. In our everyday life, between multitasking, daily routines, and to-do lists, we often forget that “a tornado is influenced by a butterfly flapping its wings several weeks earlier.”
